Thank You to our Digital Field Trip Supporters

The London Children’s Museum is committed to ensuring equitable access to all of our programs, but we cannot do so without the help of our community.

We are so grateful for the continued support of community partners and donors. This year, our staff team delivered an astounding number of subsidized Digital Field Trips, thanks to the Thames Valley District School Board, the London District Catholic School Board, the Arcangelo Rea Family Foundation, the Johansen-Larsen Foundation, and individual supporters.

All children deserve access to quality and engaging educational opportunities, regardless of financial circumstances. Subsidies give students complete access to engaging Digital Field Trips, including materials and program delivery, at no cost to families. For many families in our community, resources are stretched thinner than ever. The London Children’s Museum helps provide students with some of the educational supports they would not otherwise have access to.

The generous support we’ve received this year helped provide nearly 8,500 students with a Digital Field Trip.

“The subsidy helped our class access this program. During these incredible times, we would likely not have been able to participate without this funding. We took our project outside which provided students with a break from our classroom which is also essential right now.” – Thames Valley District School Board Teacher

As our community continues to navigate reopening, educational organizations like the London Children’s Museum are essential. Digital Field Trips support and compliment students’ classroom learning. These programs include educational materials, engaging videos, live interactive discussions, and teacher supports. Digital Field Trips deepen and enhance learning, and give students memorable real-world experiences. In an otherwise challenging time, Digital Field Trips make a positive impact on children’s lives.

As a registered charity, the London Children’s Museum relies on the generous support of the community to sustain our programs and services while remaining affordable for families of all financial backgrounds. Thank you again to our partners for providing equal educational opportunities for all students.
